Visitation Guide

1. Visiting Hours: (Visiting hours and a resident’s visitation rights are subject to change.)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. All visitors are required to stop and register at the entrance gate.  Identification is required.  Visitors will have to sign in again at the unit they are visiting.  Visitors to the Alcohol and Drug Unit go directly to the unit instead of coming through the Hospital gate.

3. No person can drive on East Mississippi’s campus without a valid driver’s license.

4. No weapons are allowed on the EMSH campus.  This includes but is not limited to guns, knives, chemical sprays, and tazers.  Weapons can be stored with the security office and retrieved when leaving.

5. No tobacco, alcohol or drugs are allowed on East Mississippi’s campus.

6. Packages and gifts are subject to inspection.

7. No cell phones, cameras, video recorders, or audio recorders are allowed on campus.  Requests to take photos or videos are to be submitted to the Office of Public Information 

8. Visitors are subject to audio and video surveillance while on East Mississippi’s campus.

9. East Mississippi reserves the right to reject or remove any visitor that poses a threat to the safety or treatment of an individual receiving services.
